September Book List

The new month of September starts tomorrow and I have a group of books I am dying to get. I do not know if I will be able to read them all in one month (I am a slow reader) but it will be fun trying! Some of them were introduced to me Continue reading

Hi everyone!

Been a little while since I have done an update for everyone about the progress of my book. So let us begin!

First, having an awsome writing day. I am really surprised. Thought I have gotten myself into a little bit of a pickle with a new scene. I might have to go back Continue reading

Oldie But Goodie

Hello! I thought I would do a repost from when I first started my blog. This is an oldie but a goodie!

There was a particular question which a soon to be fan of my book asked me that I thought would be best to let Trent answer since he is the vampire. Here is the question and his answer.

Is the world of Vampires known to everyone in your book? If not, how do they stay hidden from the world? How do they feed without being “found”?

I am glad Elizabeth has let me answer this question since it is right up my alley. I will try to answer it as best I can.
Some vampires feed out right without worry and end up killing the victim. When this is done normally the neck is ripped out and then it looks like another homicide. Which is normal in a city like Continue reading

It is that time again! Time for another giveaway. This one is a goodie too!

First up we got Kristan Higgins’ The Next Best Thing:

Lucy Lang isn’t looking for fireworks.

She’s looking for a nice, decent man. Someone who’ll mow the lawn, flip chicken on the barbecue, teach their future children to play soccer. But most important: someone who won’t inspire the slightest stirring in her heart…or anywhere else. A young widow, Lucy can’t risk that kind of loss again. But sharing her life with a cat named Fat Mikey and the Black Widows at the family bakery isn’t enough either. So it’s goodbye to Ethan, her hot but entirely inappropriate “friend with privileges” and hello to a man she can marry.

Too bad Ethan Mirabelli isn’t going anywhere. As far as he’s concerned, what she needs might be right under her nose. But can he convince her that the next best thing can really be forever?

Next we have up, Sweet Nothings by Catherine Anderson:

The lashing her abusive former husband Rodney gave to Sonora Sunset sent Molly Wells over the edge. Unable to sit idly by while he badly hurt the helpless steed, Molly steals the horse. She travels across Oregon to Jake Coulter’s Lazy J Ranch due to his reputation as far away as the Portland area as a horse whisperer.
Jake has doubts that she owns Sonora Sunset, but cannot ignore the steed’s injuries. He also notices how Molly deeply cares about the horse. As Jake provides kindness and nurturing to Sonora Sunset he begins to fall in love with Molly. She reciprocates, but fears a relationship after the hell that Rodney put her through. She also is afraid that if Rodney catches up to her, he will go after Jake too.

To win these items all you have to do is tell me why you love romance novels! What about the characters gets you involved in the story? What about the plot makes you keep reading?

This Giveaway will end on Thursday August 26th! I will pick a winner and announce it on that following Friday! Good Luck!

Happy Winning!

Interview with Lucien Black

Welcome Mr. Black! I must begin by saying that your books sounds very interesting considering the way it came around to be.

Can you tell us a little about how the book came to be? What it is about?

Thanks Elizabeth. First I want to thank you for taking the time to share this interview with your readers. It’s hard to believe that I just released my fourth book in the No Vacancies series. So this interview is perfect timing.
No Vacancies is a short story based series, offering readers various stories from multiple genres. One of my aspirations as a writer was to write comic books and over time I developed many stories for the comic book format. Without a full time artist to draw the works, I changed the format to be a series of “episodic” short stories. I’ve compared the series to a sort of Goosebumps for adults. My works cover multiple genres and may either be stand alone short stories or may be multi-part. So for example, the series, Outcast, is a multi horror Continue reading

The World’s First Vampire?

Dating back 6,000 years ago is what is believed to be the first recorded vampire – the edimmu of Mesopotamia (also known as the ekimmu). This angry and violent victim of an improper burial not only drank the blood of those that passed by, but would also suck them dry of their life force as well, making them not only one of the first bloodsuckers, but also the first psychic vampires.

The edimmu’s anger was mainly directed toward those that had not followed its funeral rites correctly – if someone died and you didn’t give them the burial they deserved, then Continue reading

To Brand or Not To Brand

I just came to a revelation. I don’t believe myself to be an expert. You see, I have been reading books on how to market your brand, which essentially isn’t just your book but is also yourself. At least that is what I am gathering from all of the different books and websites I am reading.

The problem with this is that if you are a brand you are suppose to be Continue reading

Blog Tour Update

So far scheduling a blog tour is going really good. I already have 14 blog hosts set up with dates. This is going to be so much fun! I really hope it gets more people interested in picking up a copy of Vampyre Kisses.

I will post the blog tour schedule after I have the 20 blogs all confirmed. I really hope everyone is getting as excited about this as I am!

This is really taking a lot more time then I thought it would to set up. But I am still trying to find time to work on the second book that I still hope to have done by the end of this year.

I am sorry that I have been neglecting my blog but I hope for things to come back to normal soon.

What does everyone think about the blog tour?
