Recently a good friend of mine, MaryLynn Bast, wrote a new PNR called, No Remorse. I have beta read it and think it is great! Totally different from the normal werewolf reads out there. Right now, read the synopsis, get to know the author by reading the interview and please leave comments for her! She is BRAND new so she needs your support!

Synopsis:
Amber knows she is a werewolf, but that is all she knows. She has been on the run since childhood, never staying in one place so as to avoid contact with other werewolves, who seem intent on capturing her (or worse). By accident, she is reunited with the only other man/wolf she felt close to. Blake becomes her world and helps her lose her fearful solitary life and find a pack of werewolves she can live with. She is more powerful than any other werewolf—ever. Is she something besides just a werewolf? Amber is mated to Blake and, during the official ceremony, comes face-to-face with her long lost family, old friends, new friends, and the Council that has chased Amber her whole life.
Interview:
1. What excites you most about your book’s topic?
I have loved wolves since I was a teenager and like the ideas of shape shifting into another form and running care free through the woods. Amber is alone in her battle of survival and finds it hard to let go of control to allow Blake and others into her life.
2. Why did you choose it?
Choosing the topic for this story was really by accident. I was alerted to a short story contest for werewolves and I wrote my 5,000 word short story in a couple of days. I set the story aside and one day came across it again. When I started reading it again, the story just seemed to flow when I started writing and adding to it, morphing into the novel it is now.
3. How long did the book take you from start to finish?
The overall story took me a little over 4 months to complete once I read over the short story and began seriously writing on the story line.
4. What aspect of writing the book did you find particularly challenging?
The challenge of writing is actually sticking to the routine. When everyone else is watching TV or going out, I was at the desk writing. Hearing others telling me I am losing out on having fun was the hardest part. I had to remind myself that my writing was fun for me and I had a goal in mind and I wanted to meet that goal.
5. What surprised you the most about the book writing process?
The hardest part for me was actually trying to write an outline of the story. When I wrote the outline it caused me to have complete writers block. My writing style is more free-style. I never know where the story is going to take me until I find that I am halfway down the winding road with many side roads branching off that can lead in any direction.
6. Did you have any favorite experiences when writing your book?
Typing the last sentence gave me such a feeling of accomplishment that I jumped up and ran around the room. Since I was in Japan at the time, in a whole different time zone, I could not call anyone to celebrate. Even though the manuscript was far from being done, just having the full story in writing, was a wonderful feeling of pure joy and butterflies in the stomach.
7. What do you hope your readers will gain from reading your book?
I hope the readers gain the understanding that not all stories have to follow the traditional roles. This is fiction and anything can happen. Just because the same thing always happens in other books, we can shake it up a bit, create our own ideas and run with it, to think outside the box we all seem to place ourselves in.
8. What projects are you currently working on?
I am currently working on the second story, Softest Touch where the main character is a werewolf. The characters of Softest Touch will be intertwined with No Remorse characters which will also lead to more novels that are already planned for this series along with short stories that will give my fans a better understanding of some of the characters that are not explained in the novels. Also in the works is a Science Fiction short story about a girl who learns to walk in dreams. A Criminal short story of a serial killer who is stalking predators. And finally an Erotica, a short story full of sex and intrigue of a vampire who turns the woman he loves into a vampire only to be torn apart.
9. Did you do any research for your books, or did you write from experience?
I do tons of research on my books. I love putting in facts of history mixed with fiction, making the story sound more real. Some of my ideas come from actual experience, but most of my stories are inspired from random things that happen throughout the day, a dream, a conversation and a very good imagination. Without imagination, the world would be a very boring place!
